The McKim Center | Building Strong Community Since 1821
On this web-page, parents/legal guardians may request to register for one or both of the parts of the McKim Center's "Free School" After-School Program (Athletics or Academics).
All youth and families enrolled in the McKim Center's programs must abide by our Code of Conduct.
Remember: On this web-page, you can enroll your youth in the
(1) Athletics part of the "Free School" and/or the
(2) Academic part of the "Free School."
Also be sure to see the RELEASE FORM at the bottom of this web-page, which must be filled out and signed by each youth's parent/legal guardian. Thank you.
Founded in 1821, the McKim Center is one of the oldest incubators of youth athletes in the United States.
Our legendary athletic programming in Cross Country, Wrestling, Track and Field, Volleyball, and more, mold youth to be outstanding athletes, sportspersons, scholars, peacemakers, and family-oriented people.
Practice for Athletics occurs from 6-8 PM on select afternoons and evenings, with some weekends reserved for competitions.

The STEM & Healing Arts part of McKim's "Free School" After-School Program is a partnership between the McKim Center and the Baltimore Wisdom Project, which serves as McKim's official Educational and Health Services Partner.
STEM & Healing Arts blends life science, environmental justice, math, physics, and engineering with peacemaking, civics, cultural studies, and visual arts.
STEM & Healing Arts occurs Monday through Friday, 5 days a week, from 3-6 PM daily starting on Monday September 11, 2023 and ending on Friday May 31, 2024.
